Comedian Lehri remembered

The birth anniversary of legendary comedian Safeerullah Siddiqui, widely known as Lehri, was observed on Thursday.

Born on January 2, 1929, Lehri is remembered as one of Pakistan's finest comedians, with a career spanning three decades from the 1950s to the 1980s. He made his film debut with Anokhi in 1956, and his final film appearance was in Dhanak in 1986.
