Rapper Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenezer Owuo Jr., has been banned from driving for nine months after pleading guilty to using a phone while behind the wheel of his £225,000 Rolls Royce Wraith. The 31-year-old artist was caught by an off-duty police officer in West Kensington on March 7, 2024.

Initially pleading not guilty, Stormzy changed his plea just before his trial at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court. Alongside the driving ban, he has been ordered to pay a £2,010 fine within seven days.

This isn't the first road offence for the rapper. In October 2023, he admitted to driving his Lamborghini Urus—worth up to £260,000—with illegally tinted windows near his £2.5 million Kingston-upon-Thames home.

With 15 points now accumulated on his license, the ban follows a series of luxury car incidents. Stormzy's impressive car collection includes a Mercedes G550 G-Wagon, valued at £110,000, and a £77,980 Audi A8 luxury sedan.

This high-profile case highlights the consequences of distracted driving, even for celebrities with enviable car collections.
