The suspect, a man on a bicycle, entered the bank and handed a note demanding cash while allegedly threatening the teller and indicating he had a weapon.

However, bank employees confronted the suspect, and he fled the scene empty-handed.

Upon exiting the bank, the man discovered his bike had been stolen. Left without a means of escape, he fled on foot.

Authorities are now searching for both the attempted robber, described as a white man between 5'4" and 5'8", and the thief who took the bike, who was dressed in all black.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hamilton Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
