'Govt committed to boost trade, economy'

Federal Minister for Gilgit-Baltistan & Kashmir Affairs and States & Frontier Regions (SAFRON), Engr Amir Muqam on Sunday said the federal government was making untiring efforts for the revival of economy and promotion of trade and investment in the country.

Addressing the concluding session of the two-day Swat Trade Show 2024 as the chief guest in Mingora, Swat district, he said the trickle-down effects of the government's economic and fiscal reforms had started to show results, and the inflation rate had been reduced to a single digit.

He termed the TDAP's efforts for empowerment and promotion of local businesses as positive besides economic development of the region was important.
