Cristiano Ronaldo fuels marriage rumor again after calling Georgina Rodriguez ‘wife’ at Dubai Gala
Cristiano Ronaldo has set the rumor mill spinning once again after referring to his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, as "my wife" during his acceptance speech at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.
The 39-year-old football legend, who won two awards during the ceremony — including Best Middle Eastern Player and Top Goal Scorer of All Time — made the comment while expressing gratitude to his family.
“It’s a big pleasure to win this trophy. My oldest son is here, my wife [Georgina] is here,” Ronaldo said on stage. “She’s my lovely support all the time to carry on to play. In one month, I’m gonna be 40 years old, but I’m not finished yet.”
The Al-Nassr striker has been dating Georgina, 30, since 2016. Together, they share two children, and she is a loving stepmother to his three older children. However, the couple has yet to publicly confirm tying the knot.
This isn’t the first time Ronaldo has referred to Georgina as his wife. In a YouTube video posted in August, Ronaldo used the term while playing a lighthearted game of "Mr. and Mrs." Fans also noticed both wearing rings, further fueling speculation.
Additionally, during an appearance on the WHOOP podcast, Ronaldo casually mentioned his “wife” when describing his morning routine.
While the football icon has not addressed the rumors directly, fans remain eager for any confirmation about the couple’s relationship status.
