Christmas Day saw Beyoncé deliver a performance that rivaled the grandeur of a Super Bowl halftime show.

However, a prominent figure in sports media was unimpressed by the legendary singer's act.

Dave Portnoy expressed his belief that Beyoncé hasn't achieved much in the past decade.

As Beyoncé performed songs from her *Cowboy Carter* album during halftime of the Texans-Ravens game at NRG Stadium in Houston, the Barstool Sports founder shared his opinions on social media.

“Beyoncé has been LOST since Destinys Child,” Portnoy wrote on X, referring to the singer's former group, which officially broke up 18 years ago.

The elaborate show, part of Netflix’s exclusive Christmas game lineup, also included performances by Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy.

Even Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, made a special appearance to dance.

The performance featured the popular track “Texas Hold ‘Em,” but Portnoy remained critical.

“Shred line is open for that Beyoncé performance,” he wrote in another post to promote a call-in show he co-hosts with former NFL coach Jon Gruden.

This isn’t the first time Portnoy has expressed such views. During the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show, he stated: “Rihanna > Beyoncé. Not particularly close.”

Regardless of Portnoy's opinion, Beyoncé has maintained her popularity with the NFL, having headlined the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and later appearing alongside Bruno Mars and Coldplay in 2016.

Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, a rapper and music mogul, has been associated with the NFL since 2019, with his company Roc Nation managing entertainment for the league, including the Super Bowl halftime performances.
