Man held for false robbery report

A man who made a false robbery report was arrested by police, who also recovered a pistol from his possession. According to sources, the City Police Station in Hasan Abdal received a distress call through helpline 15, in which the caller, identified as Ali Hasan, claimed that he had been attempting to sell a pistol to an unidentified individual.

According to Hasan, the buyer took the firearm and fled without paying. Upon arrival at the scene, officers searched Hasan and found the pistol in his possession.
