The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today announced the revised schedule for the two ICC World Test Championship fixtures between Pakistan and the West Indies from January 17 to 29, 2025.

The Caribbean side is set to arrive in Islamabad on January 6, 2025.

The tour will also include a three-day warm-up match between the visitors and Pakistan Shaheens from January 10-12 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The Test series will then commence with back-to-back matches at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

The first Test, originally scheduled to be held in Karachi, has now been relocated to Multan.

This marks the West Indies' first Test series on Pakistani soil in 19 years. Their last Test series in Pakistan took place in November 2006.

Although the West Indies haven't played a Test series in Pakistan since 2006, they have toured the country three times since 2018 for limited-overs matches, including ODIs and T20Is.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan currently ranks seventh in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table with a PCT of 33.33 from 10 matches, having won four and lost six.

On the other hand, West Indies are in ninth place with a PCT of 24.24, having played 11 matches, securing just two wins and suffering seven losses.

Both teams have faced each other in 54 Test matches.

Pakistan holds the upper hand with 21 wins, while West Indies have won 18 matches, and 15 Tests have ended in draws.

Second Test: January 25-29, Multan Cricket Stadium.
