Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul fight reportedly ‘on the table’ for 2025
A potential fight between Jake Paul and Conor McGregor is reportedly being considered for 2025, as rumors swirl about the UFC star possibly taking on Logan Paul instead.
Since entering the combat sports scene, Jake Paul has frequently challenged Conor McGregor to a fight. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has been eager to face off against the UFC icon in the boxing ring.
Initially, McGregor dismissed Jake’s challenges, referring to him and his brother Logan as “dingbats.” However, the Irishman has since escalated the trash talk to a more personal level.
McGregor has consistently sided against Jake in his bouts, openly supporting his opponents, including in Jake’s recent fight with Mike Tyson. Now, it appears the long-awaited clash between the two could actually happen.
According to Salvador Rodriguez of ESPN Mexico, a fight between Jake and Conor is “on the table” for 2025.
“July, August, or September,” Rodriguez shared in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The report also suggested that India might serve as the host country for the highly anticipated fight, though no specific city or venue has been mentioned.
This news emerges amid speculation about a potential fight between McGregor and Logan Paul. McGregor added fuel to the rumors by claiming he had “agreed” to a fight with the imPaulsive host.
“The rumors of a bout with Topuri[a] are false,” McGregor posted on December 17. “I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed.”
However, there has been no significant progress on the matter since McGregor’s post.
