JCSC meeting reviews prevailing national, regional security environment

The Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Meeting (JCSC) was held here on Tuesday at the Joint Staff Headquarters to review the prevailing national and regional security environment.
General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman JCSC presided over the meeting which was attended by Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Secretary Defence, Secretary Defence Production, Director General Joint Staff, Director General Inter Services Intelligence, Director General Strategic Plans Division and senior military officer from the three services.
The forum reviewed the prevailing national and regional security environment and the challenges faced by the country and the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
