Two suspected criminals injured
During a police encounter, two criminal record holder robbers were injured by the firing of their accomplices, who were shifted to Civil Hospital Faisalabad after medical treatment.
A team of 11 Dolphin Squad officials was patrolling on the Lahore Road, while five armed robbers were standing on the road with the intention of committing crime and they fled towards Link Road after seeing the Dolphin Police.
Police officers including SHO City Jaranwala Farooq Nazeer reached Ravi Milk Plant from Syedwala Road towards Link Road and tried to arrest the accused. On which the accused fled towards 240 GB on a motorcycle Honda 125.
As the police continued to chase the accused, the accused kept firing at the police party.
Due to the retaliatory firing by the police, the accused were scarred and two accused on a motorcycle, Ali Haider Asghar, a resident of 534 GB and Faizan Iqbal, a resident of 240 Mor Ismail Abad, fell on the side of the road.
Later, the accused were injured by the firing of their accomplices, who were shifted to Civil Hospital Faisalabad after medical assistance.
The police seized two pistols and a motorcycle from the possession of the accused and registered a case and started the process of interrogation.
