Woman's murder

The police have solved a case of the murder of a 28-year-old woman in the Qutubpur area, declaring that the victim had been killed by a hitman hired by her husband.

The police have arrested three suspects in the case, including the husband of the deceased. The woman had been shot dead on December 13.

The suspect had informed the police that she had been gunned down at around 10:30 pm by robbers when they were returning home after visiting relatives.

A case had been registered in the Qutubpur police station.

Police teams formed after the registration of the case traced and arrested the suspects.

It was revealed during initial investigation that the husband of the deceased had made a deal of Rs2.2 million to get her killed. An advance payment of Rs200,000 had been made, while the remaining amount was to be paid after the murder. One of the arrested suspects is a bank manager.

The investigation revealed that the husband of the victim wanted to get married again, which was why he got his wife murdered.
