“I have not seen such a large scale displacement of livestock in recent history,” the provincial livestock minister, Abid Hussain Jatoi, said on Tuesday. The livestock department has set up 269 veterinary relief camps. Meanwhile, statistics released by the health department state that over 50,000 people have been diagnosed with skin diseases, 45,644 with malaria, 13,524 with eye infections and 501 with snake bites.
