BoI completes GIS survey of 35 SEZs

Around 35 Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the country were surveyed through Geographical Information System (GIS), whereas extensive data was available on the SEZs to accelerate the progress of ongoing projects, Board of Investment (BoI) officials told Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday.

Shehbaz chaired a review meeting regarding the progress of ongoing projects and various initiatives under the BoI), the Prime Minister's Office said in news release.

"Work on regulatory reforms should be accelerated to provide a conducive environment for business in Pakistan," the prime minister told the meeting.
