Just a week after Selena Gomez announced her engagement to Benny Blanco, the 32-year-old star shared new photos showcasing her dazzling marquise-shaped diamond ring.
The ring, set on a diamond eternity band, took center stage in a photo Gomez posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Fans speculated that Selena Gomez might be throwing subtle shade at Justin Bieber with her excitement-filled posts, noting the timing and tone of her engagement celebration.

The Rare Beauty founder beams with joy in the photo, dressed in a black top paired with a maroon trench coat. Her hair is styled in a side part, and she accessorizes with large, dangly earrings, lavender eyeshadow, and a soft pink lip.
In a second post, the Only Murders in the Building star shared an outdoor video where she exclaims "eeee" while holding her left hand up to the sunlight, making her ring sparkle even more.
"Sorry last post... I've just dreamed of this moment my whole life," Gomez captioned the video.
Earlier that day, Blanco, 36, expressed similar emotions. He reposted Gomez’s Dec. 11 Instagram engagement announcement on his Instagram Stories, writing, “still can’t believe it."
He also reshared a video originally posted on Saturday, Dec. 14, where the couple clinked champagne glasses. The video appears to have been captured during their engagement picnic, which included Gomez's favorite Taco Bell meal.
