Cardi B and Offset’s tumultuous relationship took another turn as the pair engaged in a heated exchange on social media on Dec. 18, reigniting tensions just days after appearing civil during Offset’s birthday celebrations.
Offset initiated the argument by accusing Cardi of lying to her fans in an attempt to tarnish his image. In posts that have now been deleted, Offset wrote, “Nobody wins when the family fights… Drop the album and go up,” as reported by TMZ. Cardi responded sharply, calling him a "dummy" and demanding that he sign their divorce papers immediately.
Offset countered by claiming he would sign the papers if Cardi agreed to split custody of their children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their newborn daughter, born in September. He also accused Cardi of prioritizing "drama" over her music career.
The public spat follows a series of online insults since their separation earlier this year, with Cardi often highlighting Offset's "narcissism." Despite their ongoing divorce, the pair briefly reunited at a Florida nightclub on Dec. 14, where they were seen throwing cash at each other in a seemingly playful exchange.
Cardi and Offset, who announced the birth of their third child in August, have been married for six years. As the divorce proceeds, Cardi is seeking full custody of their children, while their public disputes continue to unfold.
