Jeff Bezos’ stepson and Kai Trump set to be college classmates at University of Miami
Jeff Bezos’ soon-to-be stepson, Evan Whitesell, will soon share classrooms with Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, as both teenagers head to the University of Miami. Lauren Sanchez, 54, Bezos’ fiancée and Evan’s mother, expressed her pride in an Instagram Story, celebrating her 18-year-old son’s acceptance to the university’s business program.
"My heart is bursting. Beyond proud of you," Sanchez wrote alongside a repost from Xrdscollegedecisions announcing her son’s college plans.
Evan, whom Sanchez shares with her ex-husband Patrick Whitesell, has previously opened up about his journey with dyslexia, a condition he was diagnosed with in second grade. Sanchez, who also struggled with undiagnosed dyslexia during her childhood, has been vocal about supporting her son’s educational journey and achievements.
Kai Trump, 17, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, also announced her commitment to the University of Miami earlier this year. A talented golfer, she will be playing for the university’s golf team. Kai, who currently attends the prestigious Benjamin School, expressed her excitement about the opportunity and credited her family, including her grandfather Donald Trump, for their unwavering support.
The teen has made waves in the golfing world, winning championships at her grandfather’s courses and practicing alongside some of the sport’s biggest names. Despite a recent minor ankle injury sustained during flag football, Kai remains focused on her golfing career.
Both students bring unique stories and accomplishments to the University of Miami, setting the stage for an exciting college experience filled with potential and ambition.
