Karo Kari: Young wife stabbed ‘till she was dead’
Jamali allegedly stabbed Noor when she was napping in the afternoon and ‘continued till she was dead’.

A young woman was stabbed to death by her husband over karo-kari in Islam Colony 2 on Tuesday afternoon. Nawab Jamali suspected that his wife, Noor Jehan, 19, had had an affair with their neighbour, Imam Bux Rind. Jamali allegedly stabbed Noor when she was napping in the afternoon and ‘continued till she was dead’. The police have registered a case on the request of Mai Bakhtawar, Noor’s mother, against Jamali. Jamali was arrested and Imam Bukhsh Rind is missing.
