Road mishap claims life, two suffer injuries

A woman was killed and two people, including a woman, were injured in a traffic accident in Baldia Town. The body and injured people were shifted to Civil Hospital, where the deceased woman was identified as 45-year-old Abida, wife of Aamir, while the injured were identified as 55-year-old Faisal, son of Abdul Qadir, and 50-year-old Zahida, wife of Faisal.

The injured individuals are a married couple, while the deceased woman was the sister-in-law.

According to rescue officials, the deceased and the injured couple were riding on the same motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding passenger coach. The driver of the passenger coach managed to escape from the scene after the accident. The police have impounded the vehicle and shifted it to the police station and initiated further investigation.

Meanwhile, a speeding car overturned on Sharea Faisal near Aisha Bawany Academy resulting into injuries to a person. The car was completely destroyed. Rescue agencies and police reached the scene and managed to put the car in upright position. The injured person was shifted to the hospital. The police are investigating.
