The prize money for this season’s Champions League will be the same as last year, announced the Uefa. The decision means that English clubs in Europe can earn up to £50 million if they win the coveted title. English Premiership League clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are guaranteed £22.5 million even if they fail to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
