Gospel singer Le’Andria Johnson arrested for public drunkenness in South Carolina

Le’Andria Johnson, the renowned U.S. gospel singer, was arrested on December 16, 2024, in Greenville County, South Carolina, for public drunkenness. 

The arrest, which occurred around 3:37 p.m., adds another troubling chapter to Johnson’s ongoing battle with alcoholism. According to inmate records, the 41-year-old singer, standing 5’8” and weighing 192 lbs, was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center and remains in custody without bond.

She had previously been arrested and served 30 days in jail after violating probation for a public drunkenness charge.
