Court to hear PTI's FIR plea on 23rd

ISLAMABAD:

In an interesting development, a trial court in Islamabad has listed for hearing a private criminal complaint filed by the PTI against some key figures in the federal government for launching an allegedly brutal crackdown to disperse the opposition party's protest on November 26.

Islamabad District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Azam Khan on Saturday took up the complaints referred to him a day earlier by a senior civil judge.

He later directed the PTI to present its arguments on the complaint on Dec 23 while also summoning PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan.
