Rapper Tory Lanez is facing fresh allegations of orchestrating harassment against Megan Thee Stallion from prison, according to an updated lawsuit filed by the Grammy-winning artist. The suit, originally filed in October 2024, claims YouTuber Milagro Gramz (real name Milagro Cooper) spread false and defamatory statements about Megan in relation to her ongoing legal battle with Lanez.
The case stems from a 2020 incident where Megan was shot in the foot by Lanez after leaving a party hosted by Kylie Jenner. Lanez was later convicted of three felonies and is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.
Megan’s attorneys recently amended the lawsuit after discovering that Lanez allegedly contacted Gramz from jail, continuing his harassment campaign. The lawyers disclosed that they obtained Lanez’s prison phone records through a subpoena, revealing that the rapper – Daystar Peterson – is still running a harassment campaign with Milagro against Megan from jail.
The court filing asserts that Gramz acted as a “paid surrogate” for Lanez, helping spread false and harmful claims about Megan, which Megan’s legal team says have caused her significant emotional distress.
According to Megan’s lawyers, “Cooper’s false statements regarding the trial are part and parcel of a conspiratorial relationship with Peterson [Lanez],” and they accused the YouTuber of deliberately amplifying the rapper’s “disproven and baseless theories.” They also claim Gramz’s conduct has been “extreme and outrageous,” leading to significant harm for Megan.
Lanez and Gramz are contesting these accusations. Lanez’s lawyer argued that Megan and her legal team have a history of manipulating facts and misleading the public with partial narratives according to reports from TMZ.
Despite the ongoing legal issues, Megan has continued to find success in her music career, most recently with her album Megan: Act II.
