British YouTuber Chris Broad, creator of the channel Abroad in Japan, has called out prominent creators Logan Paul, MrBeast, and Haliey Welch in a video urging influencers to avoid collaborating with what he deems “terrible” creators.

Broad, known for his travel and cultural content with over 3 million subscribers, has been a vocal critic of unethical behavior in the YouTube community. In his December 12 video, he accused the trio of harming the next generation through controversial actions, such as promoting questionable crypto ventures and selling allegedly low-quality merchandise.

Broad specifically highlighted Logan Paul’s infamous 2017 incident in Japan’s Aokigahara forest, describing it as a “low point” in his career due to its impact on the platform. He also accused MrBeast of contributing to a “generational falloff” by prioritizing profit over principles, echoing comments he made earlier this year alongside fellow creator CDawgVA.

“The argument I hope to make wasn’t a controversial one,” Broad said. “It’s that making money with principles matters, and partnering with people who don’t mock the dead in a forest matters.”

He continued, “If the people at the top of this platform with unimaginable reach don’t have a good moral compass to guide them, then we all lose for it—particularly the next generation growing up watching this.”

Broad urged audiences to be selective about the creators they support, emphasizing that “where your views go really matters.”

As of now, neither Logan Paul, MrBeast, nor Haliey Welch have responded to Broad’s statements, leaving viewers curious about any potential fallout.
