Brampton man accuses white photographer of racism over passport photo dispute
A heated exchange at a Plak-It photo studio in Brampton, Ontario, has gone viral after a man, believed to be of Indian descent, accused a white photographer of racism.
The altercation began when the customer, dissatisfied with his passport photos, refused to pay and demanded proof that the images were deleted.
In the video circulating online, the customer is heard accusing the photographer of discriminatory behavior, saying, "You're showing your racism." The photographer, who remained calm throughout the exchange, countered by saying, "You're obviously racist," and urged the man to leave.
Tensions escalated when the customer asked bystanders to validate his accusations, but they largely dismissed his claims.

The man’s family also criticized a bystander for recording the exchange, accusing them of "exposing" the family, but the bystander defended her actions, stating the man's behavior was unacceptable.
The photographer, who was described as going "above and beyond" for the customer, has received support online for his professionalism.
The incident has sparked online discussions, especially given Brampton’s reputation as one of Canada’s most diverse cities. While the area is home to a large South Asian population, the situation highlighted tensions surrounding customer service and allegations of discrimination.
