Diddy faces fresh allegations: three men accuse rap mogul of sexual assault
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new wave of legal trouble as three men filed separate civil lawsuits in New York alleging sexual assault.
The cases, filed Thursday, claim that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted the plaintiffs between 2019 and 2022. These lawsuits add to a growing list of allegations against the rap mogul, who is already awaiting trial for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
The three plaintiffs detail similar experiences in their filings, accusing Combs of providing them with drug-laced drinks before assaulting them. One plaintiff alleged that after meeting Combs at a nightclub in 2019, he was handed a cocktail and later woke up to find himself assaulted while others recorded the incident. Another claims he was assaulted at Combs’ East Hampton home in 2020 after consuming a drink that left him unconscious. A third plaintiff described a 2020 incident at a New York hotel where a meeting about unpaid wages turned into an assault.
Attorney Thomas Giuffra, representing the plaintiffs, highlighted the consistency of the accounts, stating, “It was a usual thing. Come for a meeting, have a drink, you get woozy, you wake up to Sean Combs raping you.”
Combs’ attorneys deny the allegations, calling them "fictional claims" and vowing to fight the lawsuits. The lawsuits come as Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting a trial set for May 2025.
The rap mogul has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges, but these new allegations amplify the scrutiny surrounding his alleged behavior at private gatherings over the years.
