The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially launched the registration process for foreign players ahead of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to take place from April 8 to May 19, 2025.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of the registration process for foreign players as well as the trade window,” said PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer in a statement.

“The PSL is a home-grown brand which we are all proud of. Since its inception in 2016, together with our franchise owners, commercial partners and stakeholders, we have embarked on a long and successful journey,” Naseer added.

The PSL player draft is set for January 11, while category renewals will be announced on December 17.

Since the PSL's debut in 2016, Islamabad United has claimed the title three times, including in the inaugural year, 2018, and most recently in 2024.

Lahore Qalandars have won twice (2022 and 2023), while Peshawar Zalmi claimed the title in 2017, and Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans each won their lone titles in 2019, 2020, and 2021, respectively.

“The quality and competitiveness of cricket played is second to none, and we will strive to meet the expectations of our loyal fans,” Naseer concluded.
