YouTube personality and rapper Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been charged with reckless driving in Australia while on bail for rape and assault allegations. Australian authorities report that on November 17, the 29-year-old was caught driving at 98 mph in a 60 mph zone on Roe Highway in High Wycombe. His car has since been impounded.

This new charge comes as Barrientos faces ongoing legal troubles. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 12 to address the reckless driving charge, the same day he is due in court for rape and assault charges related to an alleged incident on September 28. According to reports, the incident involved a woman in her twenties at a Perth hotel room following a nightclub performance. Barrientos has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding another person’s breathing by applying pressure to the neck.

Barrientos was granted bail in October under strict conditions, including a prohibition on posting about the case on social media, daily reporting to police, and remaining in Western Australia. His legal team has not commented on the latest charge.

Known for his music and online presence, Yung Filly rose to fame in 2017 with his YouTube channel, which boasts 1.4 million subscribers. His hits include “Confidence,” “Day to Day,” and “Grey,” and he has hosted shows like Yung Filly’s Celeb Lock-In. He also appeared on The Great Celebrity Bake Off in 2022.

As Barrientos faces mounting legal challenges, the outcomes of these cases will not only determine his legal fate but may also significantly impact his public image and career trajectory.
