Cardi B slams CPS investigation over ‘bogus’ child abuse claims
Cardi B has publicly criticized Child Protective Services (CPS) for continuing to investigate her family over what she calls “bogus” child abuse allegations. The ordeal began in October when an anonymous prank caller claimed the rapper and her husband, Offset, were mistreating their children.
During a heated Instagram Live session on December 10, Cardi expressed frustration, stating, “You keep harassing me, and there are actual kids about there being abused. None of my kids have ever got touched.”
The Grammy-winning rapper also revealed that CPS agents requested personal details about her children. “Why are you harassing me for my daughter’s information? My daughter doesn’t even have a social security because I don’t want nobody knowing her name,” she said.
Cardi also shared her readiness to take legal action, including exposing CPS agents’ information if necessary. She stated, “Even after you check, you still want to harass. You’re doing the most because I’m a f—–g celebrity.”
The controversy reignited memories of an earlier incident when Cardi revealed that a prank call brought CPS to her home late at night, alleging abuse of her children—Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and her newborn.
Cardi played a recorded call between herself, Offset, and a CPS agent, who confirmed that anonymous claims in New Jersey require investigation. Cardi has denied all allegations, stating, “This is when the pranks start getting too far.”
