Jennifer Lopez linked to Jay-Z rape scandal as her photo with Diddy on assault night leaked
Jennifer Lopez has been linked to the Jay-Z scandal after being photographed arguing with Sean 'Diddy' Combs on the same night both men were accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Jay-Z, 55, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was identified on Sunday in an amended lawsuit alleging that the rappers participated in the assault of the minor at an afterparty following the 2000 MTV VMAs in New York City.

The lawsuit claims a third celebrity—a woman—was in the room and witnessed the men taking turns with the victim.
Newly uncovered photos, obtained by DailyMail.com, capture J Lo, 55, engaged in a heated dispute with Combs on that same evening.

There is no indication that J Lo is the unidentified celebrity mentioned in the lawsuit, and she is not named in the legal complaint.
However, with Jay-Z now identified, the attention-grabbing argument and the events of that night have once again come under intense scrutiny.
J Lo was in a relationship with Combs from 1999 to 2001, a connection that still impacts her public image to this day.
The lawsuit, identifying the victim only as Jane Doe, was initially filed in October. An amended complaint filed on Sunday named Jay-Z as the second previously unnamed celebrity accused of assaulting her while she was drugged, alone, and intoxicated.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by DailyMail.com: "Defendant Sean Combs…along with his lifetime friend and collaborator Shawn Carter, drugged and raped a thirteen-year-old at an afterparty following 2000 Video Music Awards."
'Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the minor.'
The third celebrity involved has not been publicly named but is described in the lawsuit as a woman the victim instantly recognized.
According to the suit, the assault took place on or around September 7, 2000. The victim, without a ticket to the awards ceremony, had a friend drive her to Radio City Music Hall in hopes of attending.
One chauffeur, who was transporting Combs and others to an afterparty, allegedly promised to return for her, commenting that she "fit what Diddy was looking for."
When she arrived at the party, the victim was asked to sign a document, which she never received a copy of, before mingling with the high-profile attendees.
After consuming a reddish-yellow drink, the victim reportedly began feeling "woozy and lightheaded," prompting her to seek a place to lie down.
She eventually found what appeared to be an empty bedroom but did not lock the door behind her.
According to the allegations, Combs aggressively approached the victim, "with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her and said, 'You ready to party!'" the lawsuit continues.
