Gold prices continue to soar in local, international markets
The price of gold has experienced a significant increase, with the price of one tola of gold rising by Rs2,300 today.
This increase has brought the price of one tola of gold to Rs282,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs1,971, reaching Rs242,455.
In the international market, gold saw a rise of 23 dollars, pushing the price of gold to 2,716 dollars per ounce.
Earlier in the session, it reached its highest level since November 6, touching $2,725.79. U.S. gold futures declined by 0.2%, settling at $2,750.70.Spot gold remained largely unchanged at $2,717.80 per ounce.
Spot silver increased by 0.8% to $32.15 per ounce, platinum rose 0.7% to $946.05, and palladium gained 0.8%, reaching $989.25.
Yesterday in local markets the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs3,100, reaching Rs280,500, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,658, reaching Rs240,484.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola rose by Rs50, reaching Rs3,450, and the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs42.86, reaching Rs2,957.81.
