ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan's aviation sector received another boost as preparations to resume flights to the United Kingdom gained momentum, following the European Union's green light for operations earlier this month.

Director General of the CAA Nadir Shafi Dar confirmed that an online meeting was scheduled for the third week of December, while a delegation from the UK Department for Transport is set to visit Pakistan next month.

He said that the UK assessment would align with the evaluations already conducted by the European Union, which finally paved the way for the resumption of flights to the continent.
