Hazara women protest gas outages
Students and office workers were most affected by the gridlock
QUETTA:
Hazara women, joined by National Party activists, protested outside the Balochistan High Court on Wednesday, condemning unannounced and prolonged gas load-shedding in the city.
The demonstrators blocked the busy Balochistan Assembly Chowk, causing severe traffic jams that left commuters stranded for hours. Students and office workers were most affected by the gridlock, which paralysed major roads around the high court. Kanzeez Fatima, one of the protesters, expressed outrage over the situation.
