50 Cent discussed the sexual assault lawsuit involving Jay-Z during his appearance on Big Boy TV on December 9, 2024. Referring to the statement Jay-Z shared on Instagram on December 8, 2024.

50 Cent said: “I just hope things are all right for him internally. I mean at the crib. Because in the statement they mentioned his daughter being old enough to … ‘cuz she about 13. So it’s the same age as these kids they saying he did something to do.”

50 Cent was referencing a part of Jay-Z's statement in which he mentioned the need to talk to his wife, Beyoncé, and their children about the allegations. He specifically referred to Blue Ivy Carter, 12, noting that she is at an age where her friends could see the claims and ask questions about them.

During the interview on Big Boy TV, 50 Cent also spoke about his relationship with both Jay-Z and Diddy. Regarding Diddy, he stated that while he doesn’t dislike him personally, he takes issue with some of Diddy’s behavior that made him uncomfortable.

Addressing his rivalry with Jay-Z, 50 Cent clarified that there is no animosity between them. "It’s just being competitive," he said, explaining that their interactions are rooted in competition rather than real conflict.

According to an NBC News report dated December 10, 2024, Jay-Z, also known as Shawn Carter, was accused in a lawsuit filed on December 8, 2024, of r*ping a 13-year-old girl after an awards show in 2000, alongside Diddy. The lawsuit, initially filed in October 2024 against Diddy alone, was refiled in New York’s Southern District federal court to include Jay-Z. The plaintiff in the case is identified as an anonymous "Jane Doe."

The lawsuit claims that Jane Doe encountered Jay-Z and Diddy after the MTV Music Video Awards in Manhattan in 2000. She alleges that she was trying to gain entry to the event or its after-party but lacked a ticket. She approached limousine drivers outside the venue, and one of the drivers, claiming to work for Diddy, said she fit what Diddy was looking for.

According to the lawsuit, the driver took her to an after-party where she was asked to sign what she believed was a nondisclosure agreement. She was then given a drink that caused her to feel "woozy." Jane Doe alleges that after lying down in a room, Jay-Z entered with Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity. She claims that Jay-Z removed her clothing and r*ped her while Diddy and the celebrity watched.
