Murder convict gets death penalty

The court of Additional Sessions Judge, Mansehra, has sentenced the accused to death, along with a fine of Rs500,000, for the murder of 30-year-old Faizan.

Another accused was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs100,000 for the shooting and wounding of Faizan's friend, Danish, after proving the charges in court.

The incident occurred on July 13, 2021, in the Thandi Khoi area, under the jurisdiction of the City Police Station. The accused opened fire during a minor altercation, severely injuring Faizan. He succumbed to his injuries two days later.
