LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court has summoned the woman whose application prompted a district court judge to order police to register a First Information Report (FIR) against cricketer Babar Azam on allegations of harassment.

Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan was hearing a plea filed by Babar Azam challenging the district court's order, arguing that the additional district and sessions judge issued a decision without adequately examining the facts of the case.

In his petition, Azam asserted that the woman's allegations are baseless, claiming they were made to humiliate him.
