Everything to know about Suits: L.A. plot, cast, and return of original characters
NBC is expanding the Suits universe with a new spinoff titled Suits: L.A., set to debut in 2025. The series, created by Suits originator Aaron Korsh, stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former Manhattan federal prosecutor who relocates to Los Angeles to start his own law firm, Black Lane Law. There, Ted becomes involved with some of the city's wealthiest clients, while grappling with personal and professional conflicts. As the story unfolds, viewers will also learn about the mysterious circumstances that drove Ted out of New York.
Several new actors have joined the Suits universe for the spinoff, including Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg. The late John Amos will also appear in the pilot episode. While NBC has not officially confirmed whether any original Suits cast members will appear, some have hinted at possible cameos. Wendell Pierce, who portrayed Robert Zane, expressed interest in returning, and Sarah Rafferty and Patrick J. Adams, who starred in the original series, have indicated they may make brief appearances.
Fans are particularly curious if Gabriel Macht will reprise his role as Harvey Specter, as the actor posted a teaser on Instagram suggesting his return. Although the official casting has not been confirmed, reports indicate Macht may appear in a three-episode arc. The highly anticipated Suits: L.A. is set to premiere on NBC on February 23, 2025, with episodes available to stream on Peacock.
