CM Gandapur assures restoration of 1,613 teachers in K-P

K-P CM says providing employment to the people of province remains key priority of his government

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has assured the restoration of 1,613 affected teachers during a meeting with the teachers' representatives in the presence of PTI leaders at the Chief Minister’s residence.

The affected teachers, led by Ajab Khan, president of the Affected Qualified Teachers Association, met the Chief Minister at Amin House late on Sunday. During the meeting, Gandapur confirmed that qualified teachers who had been affected would soon be reinstated.

PTI leaders including Syed Kamran Shah, Syed Jameel Shah, Sardar Shoaib Khan Miankhel, and the CM’s personal secretary Muhammad Nawaz Khan were also present.

The Chief Minister emphasized that providing employment to the people of the province remains a key priority of his government. “We will restore qualified teachers soon, though they will not receive their previous salaries. However, they will be given full service tenure,” Gandapur stated.

Ajab Khan, president of the affected teachers, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for showing care for the teachers’ plight. The teachers also voiced their support for the Chief Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with slogans during the meeting.
