When Aishwarya faced legal trouble over controversial kissing scene with Hrithik Roshan

Reflecting on the incident, Aishwarya Rai expressed surprise at the intense reaction, saying, “I am just an actress doing my job, but I had to answer for a two-second scene in a three-hour film.”

The controversy erupted when audiences criticised the bold scene. Later, Aishwarya appeared in other films like Shabd and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, where she also performed bold scenes, but the Dhoom 2 kiss remained the most contentious.
