Sabrina Carpenter Glows at Premiere Amid Barry Keoghan Cheating Allegations

Pop star and actress Sabrina Carpenter surprised fans on Thursday at the premiere of her Netflix Christmas special, A Nonsense Christmas, brushing off swirling rumors about her personal life. Allegations that her relationship with actor Barry Keoghan ended due to infidelity surfaced online, fueled by influencer Breckie Hill’s TikTok post referencing gossip from DeuxMoi.

The post alleged Keoghan was seen “getting very cozy” with a TikTok influencer at a private club, suggesting the relationship ended shortly before Carpenter's Los Angeles tour finale. Neither Carpenter nor Keoghan has publicly commented, but sources confirm the couple is “taking a break” due to their demanding careers.

Barry Keoghan’s Career and Carpenter’s Billboard Success
Keoghan, known for roles in Dunkirk, The Batman, and Saltburn, is one of Hollywood’s rising stars. Carpenter, a former Girl Meets World actress, continues her ascent in the music industry. Her latest album, Short N’ Sweet, released in August, became a massive success, making Carpenter the first female artist to chart three songs—“Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste”—in the Billboard Top 10 for five consecutive weeks.

Her Short N’ Sweet tour, which began in September, concluded its U.S. leg in November. Carpenter is currently preparing for the international leg, which kicks off in Dublin, Ireland, on March 3, 2024, and wraps up in Stockholm on April 4.

Defiant Amid Criticism
Carpenter has faced criticism over her bold, lingerie-inspired stage outfits but remains unfazed. “The scariest thing in the world is getting up on stage in front of that many people... If the one thing that helps you do that is the way you feel comfortable dressing, then that's what you’ve got to do,” she told Time magazine.

Despite the rumors and online chatter, Carpenter focused on celebrating her achievements, delighting fans at the premiere of A Nonsense Christmas. The Netflix special, which debuts Friday, is set to bring holiday cheer to her devoted audience.

What’s Next for Carpenter and Keoghan?
While the status of Carpenter and Keoghan’s relationship remains uncertain, both are focusing on their burgeoning careers. Carpenter’s international tour promises to elevate her status as a pop star, while Keoghan continues to solidify his position as one of Hollywood’s most promising talents.
