Cold snap may hit city by Sunday: PMD

A cold spell is expected to grip the city, with nighttime and morning temperatures dropping significantly. The minimum temperature is predicted to plummet to 11 degrees Celsius by Sunday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department's Early Warning Centre, the city will experience dry weather, cool nights, and winds from eastern and western Balochistan over the next three days.

On Friday, the city's minimum temperature remained steady at 16.5 degrees Celsius for the second consecutive day, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius.

The Early Warning Center has also forecast a mild cold wave to hit the province from December 8. Nighttime temperatures in Upper Sindh are expected to drop to 9.7 degrees Celsius, while Central Sindh will experience temperatures between 9-11 degrees Celsius.
