Teenager falls to death from wagon's roof

A teenager fell to death while trying to get down from the roof of a wagon on Friday.

Traveling on the roof of buses is banned because it can cause accidents like running into sign boards or low hanging wires.

However, people insist on traveling on the roof to escape the stifling atmosphere of the packed bus. Abdul Majeed, 18, and Abbas, 17, were getting down from the roof of a wagon near Jam Sadiq Bridge on Korangi Road when they lost their balance and fell down. Majeed died while Abbas was seriously injured.
