Twitch bans Agent 00 after driving without seatbelt on livestream, fans react

The Twitch community is divided over the ban, "Ain't no way they really banned him for that."

 On December 5, 2024, popular Twitch streamer Din Muktar, known as Agent 00, was banned from the platform, sparking a wave of speculation throughout the streaming community. 

The reason for his suspension, his first ever, has generated intense discussion online. While Twitch has not officially confirmed the specific cause of the ban, a viral clip showing Agent 00 driving without a seatbelt during a livestream has led many to believe this was the triggering incident.

The news broke through the StreamerBans bot on X (formerly Twitter), and as soon as the ban was announced, social media exploded with reactions. 

Clips from the livestream, where Agent 00 was seen driving without wearing a seatbelt, quickly circulated, causing concern among viewers. The post that gained over 100K impressions on X captioned, "Agent got banned on Twitch for not using his seatbelt while driving."

This sparked a debate among fans, with some defending the streamer and others criticizing his disregard for safety. "Makes sense... Agent should have worn a seatbelt..." wrote one commenter, while another posted, "Ain't no way they really banned him for that. Really? But he really should always wear his seat belt. He doesn't look like he is the best driver."

As of now, Agent 00 has not made any public comments about his suspension. Fans are left to wonder whether Twitch will provide further clarity on the situation. While the ban has divided opinions, it underscores the growing importance of safety in live streaming and Twitch’s increasing enforcement of its policies.
