Unidentified assailants attack landlord's house with grenade in Chak 571 GB

Unidentified assailants attacked the house of a landlord in Chak 571 GB with a hand grenade, causing significant damage to the roof on Thursday.

However, no injuries were reported as the family inside the house remained unharmed. The incident took place in the Bachiana police station area, where landlord Amanat Ali reported that unidentified individuals hurled a hand grenade onto the roof of his house.

The explosion caused considerable damage to the structure and sent shockwaves across the village and surrounding areas, sparking widespread panic. Upon receiving the report, SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob, along with SP Jaranwala Ghulam Mustafa, DSP Jaranwala, and teams from the Bomb Disposal Squad, Crime Scene Unit,

Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), arrived at the scene.

The police and forensic teams cordoned off the area, collected evidence from the site, and initiated an investigation into the attack. SSP Malik Tariq Mehboob assured that all resources are being utilized to trace and apprehend the culprits behind the grenade attack.

Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement as the investigation continues.
