The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards nominations will be revealed by Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut on December 9, 2024, during a live broadcast on CBS.
The event will see the duo presenting nominees across all 27 award categories, including the newly introduced honors: Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.
Other key categories for 2024 include Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Motion Picture – Animated, and major TV categories like Best Television Series – Drama and Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
Kaling and Chestnut join a long list of previous presenters, such as Alfre Woodard, Angela Bassett, and Dakota Fanning, who have all helped kick off the awards season by announcing the prestigious nominations.
The Golden Globe Awards will air on January 5, 2025, on CBS, marking the start of a five-year agreement to host the ceremony on the network. The event will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
Additionally, the ceremony will honor Viola Davis with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at a pre-gala on January 3, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton.
