Dr Disrespect's debut stream on Rumble attracted impressive viewership, despite the platform's subscription-based paywall. The popular streamer, whose real name is Guy Beahm, had signed with Rumble in late November after being demonetized on YouTube following his Twitch ban. His goal was to lead Rumble's gaming content and provide a much-needed boost to the platform, which has a reputation for prioritizing free speech.

On December 3, 2024, Dr Disrespect went live for the first time on Rumble. His initial broadcast drew over 40,000 viewers, a remarkable achievement, especially considering that some of these viewers were still tuning in through YouTube during the first few hours. However, the stream took an exclusive turn when Beahm switched to a paywalled Premium stream, accessible only to Rumble users who subscribe for $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Despite the paywall, over 25,000 viewers watched the Premium broadcast, signaling that a significant portion of his audience was willing to pay for exclusive content.

Though it’s unclear how many of the Premium viewers were existing subscribers, Dr Disrespect ended his broadcast with over 10,000 viewers after he raided a smaller creator. He explained that while he planned to offer Premium streams occasionally, he aimed to make them special and not frequent occurrences. Beahm also hinted that future Premium broadcasts could involve creating maps or watching exclusive Rumble videos.

This successful debut stream underscores Dr Disrespect’s ability to bring substantial viewership to new platforms, even in the wake of his controversial Twitch ban. The viewership numbers suggest that there is a strong demand for his content on Rumble, even with the added paywall barrier.
