'A Quiet Place 3' sets cast with Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy returning
Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy return for 'A Quiet Place 3' as John Krasinski announces new cast additions

John Krasinski has announced the cast for "A Quiet Place 3," bringing back franchise favorites while adding several new faces to the horror series.
Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe will reprise their roles in the upcoming threequel. New additions include Jack O'Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O'Brian, Krasinski revealed in a social media post Monday.
"So proud to be a part of this A Quiet Place Family…old and new!" Krasinski captioned the post, which featured photos of scripts printed with each actor's name. "Here we go!" He set the announcement to the "Hamilton" song "One Last Time," hinting that this installment may serve as the franchise's final chapter.
Paramount has scheduled "A Quiet Place: Part III" for a July 30, 2027 theatrical release. Production is set to begin this spring in New York, with Krasinski directing from his own screenplay. He is producing alongside Allyson Seeger for Sunday Night, while Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form produce for Platinum Dunes.
The new cast members bring impressive credentials. O'Connell continues his horror hot streak following "Sinners," which won four Oscars Sunday night, and two "28 Years Later" films. Clarke recently starred in Kathryn Bigelow's "A House of Dynamite" and portrayed Alex Murdaugh in Hulu's true crime series. O'Brian, known for "Love Lies Bleeding" opposite Kristen Stewart, has appeared in "Twisters," "Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning" and "The Running Man."
Krasinski directed the first two "Quiet Place" films and starred alongside Blunt in the original. Michael Sarnoski directed 2024's prequel "A Quiet Place: Day One" with Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn. The three films have collectively grossed approximately $900 million worldwide.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the silent but deadly franchise.
