The Weeknd has announced that his highly anticipated one-night-only live performance at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, January 25, sold out in less than an hour due to overwhelming fan demand. The event saw over 300,000 fans in the ticket queue, showcasing the artist's massive appeal and dedicated fanbase.

Cash App Visa Card customers had the exclusive opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets, while a few VIP packages are still up for grabs. The concert, organized by Live Nation, will feature a unique in-the-round stage setup, taking over the entire stadium floor for a one-of-a-kind experience.

The concert is set to celebrate The Weeknd's much-anticipated album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, which is set to release on January 24th. This album will complete the trilogy, following his previous releases, After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022). In addition, it was recently announced that The Weeknd is the first artist ever to have 23 songs that have surpassed 1 billion streams each on Spotify. He is also the most-streamed male artist on the platform this year, with over 12 billion streams.

Fans can now pre-order exclusive vinyl, box sets, and signed CDs from XO.STORE, including a limited edition Frank Miller LP. Other special releases include the Standard Album Box Set and the Sorayama Album Box Set, both of which come with a "Hurry Up Tomorrow" t-shirt and CD, as well as a 72-hour restock of Sorayama and Harmony Korine collector's edition LPs.

This Rose Bowl performance follows The Weeknd's recent one-night-only stadium show at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday, September 7, 2024. It also comes after his successful fall tour across Australia, which included multiple performances in Melbourne and Sydney. The Weeknd's record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Tour (2022/2023) was a massive success, with over 60 sold-out stadium shows across North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America, drawing more than 3 million concertgoers.
