Wahaj Ali, the star leading a number of our favourite small-screen productions, celebrated his birthday on December 1 with much love from peers and fans alike. Taking to Instagram, the Fitoor actor dedicated a birthday post full of gratitude to those who dispensed wishes on his special day.

"My birthday is just like any other day for me; same chores, same responsibilities and same struggles, but the only thing that makes this day special is the extra love and attention I receive from my fans, family and friends," Wahaj wrote. "All these beautiful prayers and wishes that I received today make me feel blessed beyond words. I can't thank my Allah enough for blessing me with all of you."

The carousel began with a short, soundless video clip of Wahaj himself, then swiping into a shot of a self-help book. The thread then saw a hale-and-hearty turn with a clip of the Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha actor working out at the gym. A basket of doting fan letters also made a show, along with a confetti-filled balloon and a royally decorated cake topped with a stunning photo of the artist.

The stream of affection flowed down the comments section, where followers and fans wished the 36-year-old actor on his special day. From complimenting his looks to his skills, from relaying blessings to cross-border devotion, enthusiasts had much to say. Unsurprisingly, they weren't the only ones, as even fellow actors were prompt in showering love.

Sunn Mere Dil co-star Maya Ali was one such industry friend. She took to Instagram Stories with a dashing capture of Wahaj, writing, "Happy birthday to the one who stands by me through thick and thin, the laughter to my chaos, and my forever Wajju. Grateful for you every single day. Love you, my friend."

Another actor to wish Wahaj on Instagram Stories was Hira Mani, whose adoration was also rooted in appreciation for the small-screen heartthrob's talents. "Happy birthday, Wahaj. You are a pleasant gift for all of us, for the public, and for the industry. Our industry only has one king and that's you. Always stay happy. Keep winning hearts with your incredible acting skills and excellent conduct. Stay happy," she emphasised.

Tere Bin co-actor Yumna Zaidi also didn't fall behind on the public appreciation over Instagram Stories. The pictures shared by Yumna reflected the amity between the two stars, with one photo freezing them in the merry motion of shared laughter and the other capturing the two sporting charisma in winsome poses. "Happy birthday to you, and thanks for being an amazing person," she simply wrote.
