Rapper P Yungin rumored dead
Rapper P Yungin, born Kamrein McClay, is rumored to have passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd.
The news began circulating through social media, with Kollege Kidd on X (formerly Twitter) posting an image of P Yungin with his mentor, NBA YoungBoy, and captioning it, "NBA YoungBoy's Baton Rouge artist P Yungin rumored to have passed away." A similar report was shared by Raphousetv (RHTV), adding to the speculation.

In addition, rapper and YouTuber BBG DEE posted a tribute on his Instagram Story, sharing a picture of Yungin and the caption, "We live and learn. I told you the truth brudda Jesus the only way," along with a heartbreak emoji and a forehead touch emoji.
NBA YoungBoy associate Lil Dump also mentioned P Yungin during a live session, saying, "We smoking at the pieces of P Yungin, man." To further fuel the rumors, NBA YoungBoy's sister, who is reportedly P Yungin's ex, shared a video story featuring the rapper with an alleged newborn, accompanied by a fingers-crossed emoji.
Despite these emotional tributes and social media posts, there has been no official confirmation of P Yungin’s death, leaving fans and the hip-hop community in uncertainty.
P Yungin, born on September 24, 2004, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, gained recognition in 2019 with his EPs I Love Y’all and Me vs World. His breakthrough came in 2020 with the single "I’m On" from the mixtape Demons Everywhere I Go, which led to collaborations with NBA YoungBoy.
Yungin continued to build his career with singles such as 'Pull Up Actin’' and 'Smiling', as well as mixtapes Let Me Go Home Alone and Retaliation. In 2022, he released his debut album, KAM, followed by its sequel DOY under NBA YoungBoy’s Never Broke Again collective and the Motown label.
